The Palladium - New York, NY (All AUDIO)
Source: AUD (Panasonic AM/FM Stereo boom box like w/condenser mics)> CM (Cassette Masters) -> my computer* -> CD or DAT @ 44.1 kHz

 Notes:
Teddy's Notes:
(Panasonic AM/FM Stereo 'boom box like' w/condenser mics) -> CM (Cassette Masters) ->
my computer* -> CD or DAT @ 44.1 kHz
*For ONLY the ending of Samson, 25:47 filler on CD2 & 20:11 filler on CD3 as follows:

1) > My computer using "CoolEdit96".

2) "CoolEdit96" noise reduction, just to remove some of the hiss & a little background noise,
(after "Get Noise Profile from Selection") -

Noise Reduction Level = 6
FTP size = 8192
Number of statistical snapshots in profile = 96
Precision Factor = 10
Smoothing Amount = 1
Transition With = 0 db

3) In "GoldWave" using "time warp" to slow down the fast tape as follows:
Under - New Speed or Length
Speed (only) = 0.930

**batteries must have been low, Jerry & company sounded a touch like the
"Chipmonks" on my masters.

4) And finally I normalized, lowered and raised the volume where needed so the waveform
was more uniform. In "CoolEdit96" I used the settings:
Normalize to = 95%
Normalize L/R Equally = check marked
DC Bias Adjust = check marked & set to 0%

For the remainder: I used a DAT provided to me by: Robert "Blake" Gilpin.
Af:Cm>R>Sbm>D: which is loge 1st row AUD center>Cm>Blake Reel
(maxell ??? @ 3.75ips) > PCM R500 w/SBM > DAT @ 48 kHz > my computer* >
DAT @ 44.1 kHz or CDRs.
Originally taped by Barry Glassberg w/sony ecm 99p's > tc 152 sd deck.
*See below
To my computer from Sony PCM R300 DAT coaxial outputs >
"Fiji" soundcard "S/PDIF" inputs @ 48 kHz > edited as follows:
1) > My computer using "CoolEdit96".

2) In "GoldWave" using "echo" as follows:
Delay(s) = 0.100
Volume (%) = 10
Reverb = unchecked

3) "GoldWave" equalizer:
60Hz = 3
150Hz = 4
400Hz = 4
1000Hz = 4
2400Hz = 3
6000Hz = 1
15kHz = 0

4) I then normalized, lowered and raised the volume where needed so the waveform
was more uniform. In "GoldWave" I used the settings:
Maximize = 0.700

5) And finally I converted the 48 kHz to 44.1 kHz in "CoolEdit96"
