A demonstration by Papagaio in the remastering thread shows that the freeware program I used (Audacity) to speed correct this recording is flawed, in that, it introduces harmonic distortion. See the following message and the 6 or 7 mesages after it: http://www.sharingthegroove.org/msg...9670#post879670 So I started with my original trade CDs, and speed corrected them with Adobe Audition (CoolEdit) using the same 7.3% increase factor. Some of you may not hear the difference, but I definitely do. This version sounds much cleaner to me.
